Miranda (10) is Cerberus, the three-headed dog that guards the gates of Hell in mythology. Ivy, (5) wanted to be a Murloc. That's a fish-like creature from the World of Warcraft game. Handmade by mom.

A Fire Truck coming to put out her brother, the fire. (Very Clever)

I'll run the contest through the weekend allowing parents to email their Trick-or-Treating photos (traceesioux@yahoo.com). I'll give away the $150 Seagate FreeAgent GO Portable Hard Drive on Monday morning.

The dalmatian costume is awesome.

All costumes are fantastic! The Dalmatian looks like the easiest to wear so she gets my vote.

I don't even WANT to know WHAT the hungry toilet eats...

The dalmation - including hair made into ears and face painted to complete the look - is cute enough to want to pet her head! Nice job by a creative parent!

The little Dalmatian, won my heart, what a cutie and if I do say very original.

The dalmatian gets my vote for thrift, creativity, and not needing explanation. Kudos to all these moms for going outside the usual storebought options.
